We’re just about a month away from the release of new Xbox One S, but Microsoft still has a surplus of old 2015 / 2016 bundles. They’ll need to pawn off before the new Xbox debuts. Now through July 17th the Microsoft Store has reduced prices by up to $100, is tossing in a free extra controller with all bundles, a free Ubisoft game of choice, and is now giving a bonus $50 Gift Code.
Basically, Xbox One 1TB consoles are now $299 while 500GB consoles are $279. Most retailers are matching the discounts, some offer the extra controller along with it, but the $50 Gift Code and free game are unique to the Microsoft Store. That makes it the standout retailer of choice to pick up a brand new Xbox One bundle.

During that time, Microsoft was offering a $60 bonus gift card on top of the discounts and a free Ubisoft game of your choice (typical titles basically with slightly more selection). It was a great deal at a time, but fast forward half a year and we’re now looking at significantly more in bonuses value in the wireless controller and a bigger price reduction.
