Bioshock: The Collection Announced by 2K

June 30, 2016 by Nick Monroe

Return to Rapture this September.

BioshockCollectionHeaderIt’s been nine long years since you first visited Bioshock‘s Rapture. There were rumors that the Bioshock series would eventually be remastered, and today 2K games formally announced it.

2K is bringing the Bioshock trilogy of games back into one collection. Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite all come together in one package. All the DLC for these games will be included as well, but they’ve decided to not include Bioshock 2‘s multiplayer component. In addition to the games and DLC, a documentary series called Director’s Commentary: Imagining Bioshock will also be a part of this deal. It’s also worth noting that Bioshock: Infinite will not be remastered for the PC version of this collection, as it already meets “current-gen console standards”.

Bioshock: The Collection arrives on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13th 2016. For all the latest updates, you can check out their website, Twitter, and Facebook.
