With Sony's annual appearance at E3 such a commonplace in today's gaming industry, the fact they are going to be present at this year's show was almost a certainty. However, it is now confirmed and everyone can get on with their lives, and if you are wanting to attend the press conference, suffer some degree of panic in trying to rustle up an invitiation to the event.
Sony's last couple of outings in regards to E3 have been somewhat lackluster. The company has – over the past year – had a tendency to announce their more innovative and grandiose endeavors at other events such as Playstation Meeting and the like. However, with the next console generation being closer than ever, this could break the trend of mediocre showings.
The press conference will take place at the Memorial Sports Arena, and begin around 6:00 P.M. PST.
