One of the aspects that Star Wars Battlefront lacked was an offline game mode. This was one of the key cornerstones that made the original Star Wars Battlefront video games so appealing as gamers could freely play a match without having to connect online to enjoy the game. However, a menu leak could indicate that Electronic Arts and DICE may have an offline game mode known as Instant Action in the works.
This new menu discovery comes from a YouTube user Uninspired Zebra who stumbled upon a hidden menu option known as Instant Action. Apparently, within this option, gamers can enjoy Star Wars Battlefront offline, but even more, the game mode will allow offline multiplayer.
The footage above was posted by Uninspired which shows the Instant Action game mode, but this does not confirm if the option will be releasing from the development team. This is also strange as the announcement of this feature was not highlighted during E3 this year. Likewise, it’s easy to create fakes and post them as a legitimate leak online, so this Instant Action menu very well could be something created by the user itself.
Regardless, if this feature game mode is, in fact, real then it would definitely please plenty of gamers out there, though for now, we’ll simply have to label it as a rumor. With that said, we want to know if you would personally enjoy an offline multiplayer game mode for Star Wars Battlefront. Let us know by leaving us a comment down below.
