Even though NHL 17 doesn’t launch officially until September 13, 2016, gamers and hockey enthusiasts can get a taste of its gameplay this July thanks to the beta. Find out how you can get access to the beta and what modes will be available to play.
Announced by Electronic Arts, NHL 17 will have a beta for select gamers to enjoy starting on July 28, 2016, and it will run until August 4, 2016. The beta will include only three game modes for play which are online head-to-head games, EA Sports Hockey League, and lastly, Hockey Ultimate Team. Additionally, the beta will also allow gamers to create their own unique player, but the beta itself is only available for select gamers.
To get access on the beta, gamers will have to jump on the official NHL 17 website and sign up for early access. You don’t want to wait too long before you sign up to enjoy the beta as gamers only have until July 7, 2016, before Electronic Arts takes down the early access signups page.
Furthermore, Electronic Arts also announced the Hockey player that will be featured on the official NHL 17 game cover. After a series of votes which was submitted by fans of the NHL series, it was decided that the right winger for St. Louis Blues, Vladimir Tarasenko, will sport the front cover.
As mentioned, NHL 17 officially releases on September 13, 2016, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
