Focus Home Interactive has released a new gameplay trailer for science fiction role-playing game The Technomancer.
The new trailer focuses on showing players how, exactly, to survive on Mars. There are a lot of dangers on Mars—but one of the biggest is other humans. Multiple factions have emerged, “determined to secure whatever power they may get hold of.” Some of them are friendly, and some aren’t; that’ll be determined through your choices throughout the game.
Of course, there are a bunch of dangerous bioengineered creatures created with the “genetic makeup of animals found on Earth.”
Players will have a bunch of Technomancer powers that “compliment [a player’s] chosen combat stance: fight with the Staff, the signature of a Technomancer; with a blade and gun, the mark of a rogue; or a mace and shield, the weapons favored by soldiers.”
Each of the stances has its own skill tree, as with the technomancy skills.
Upgrading weapons and armor is “equally important,” and players will be able to find, loot, and buy new gear. As you’d expect, there’s a lot of variety—like crafting slots, that allow players to “improve their stats according to [their] preferences and playstyle.”
The Technomancer will be released June 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
