The infamous Call of Duty: Elite service will be bringing DLC to the PS3 on April 12th for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 owners. The DLC will consist of drops 4, 5, and 6.
The drops will consist in all of: a new Modern Warfare 3 map – Black Box, and two special operations missions – Negotiator and Black Ice. Xbox360 players received this content on March 13th, so it looks like it is finally time for PS3 owners to see what all the hubbub is about. New achievements were present within the Xbox360 version, so it is expected we will see the same treatment for the PS3 one.
Furthermore, if you do not subscribe to the Elite service, then you should look for the content later this month. While there has not been any word on an exact date for you guys, rest assured: it is coming.
I have been wanting to ask our readers this for a while, but what do you think of Call of Duty: Elite? Is it a legitimate service, or is it just another way to squeeze more dollars from gamers' pockets?
