Well, it didn't take as long as I thought it would but Pokemon x Nobunaga's Ambition is seeing a western release under the name Pokemon Conquest. Available on June 18th, Pokemon Conquest brings together the instant accessibility of Pokemon with the tactical gameplay of Nobunaga's Ambition. It might confuse long-time Pokemon fans a little, but personally I can't wait to see how the game plays.
With two trailers released, it looks like Nintendo aren't going to be holding back on the marketing just because it's not part of the main series. I must admit, I'd have liked to have seen it released as Pokemon x Nobunaga's Ambition just so the latter could get a wider following and potentially see more support, but I guess the fact that this one is being translated at all is good enough.
Expect more English trailers and screenshots over the next couple of months as we get closer to release.
