It could be tough trying to keep tabs on E3 with so much news and conferences being held throughout the day. During the PC gaming conference earlier today, Dual Universe was shown off, from the development team Novaquark. This is an upcoming exploration and crafting MMO title that puts players into the role of an astronaut, as they explore vast different planets and player creations around the galaxy.
You’ll want to take note that the footage shown off was pre-alpha and the game is not expected to see an alpha release until early 2017. Regardless, Dual Universe looks quite interesting and immersive.
With that said, it’s worth mentioning that Dual Universe does share some strong resemblance to the upcoming indie title, No Man’s Sky. Players will be able to explore, trade, get involved with the online politics, and of course find themselves in some major galactic warfare battles.
