During Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, gamers around the world finally got to see some single-player gameplay of the upcoming hack-and-slash title, For Honor. Didn’t catch the Ubisoft press conference then no worries we got the gameplay footage posted right above, check out For Honor in all its glory.
For Honor is currently in development under Ubisoft Montreal and is set to launch on current generation consoles, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, next year, February 14, 2017. As mentioned earlier, this is a hack-and-slash title that features a wide range of historical soldiers such as medieval knights, samurai, and Vikings.
Players will go head-to-head or fight against the odds with a number of different enemies all the while having control of melee weapons such as axes and swords. During Ubisoft E3 press conference, a demo was shown off that focuses on combat and the various ways you can annihilate your enemy.
This reminds us of both the game franchises God of War and Dynasty Warriors with more of a focus on one-on-one battles. Regardless of the similarities to other game franchises, For Honor looks like an incredible thrill and one we can’t wait to get our hands on. Unfortunately, we’ll still have quite a ways to go before the game officially launches.
