Cryptic's Star Trek Online is far from dead, and despite fierce competition from the likes of Star Wars: The Old Republic and World of Warcraft, the game has just been translated into French and German for European gamers.
The game is now available in all three languages (the aforementioned two, plus English) on the official website with full support for all three. In addition to the new translations, Cryptic is adding EU-friendly time slots for events in the game.
"The launch of Star Trek Online in Europe is the culmination of our efforts over the past several years to bring gamers the Star Trek universe on a truly massive scale," said Dan Stahl, the game's executive producer.
All players will benefit from a double XP weekend this week, and players who log on from today through April 2 will get a free tribble pet, which provides a buff to your character.
