Square Enix has a whole bunch of content planned for Final Fantasy XIII-2, including a new colosseum battle with Ultros of FF6 fame and Typhon. The studio has released a video showcasing the battle you'll face in the colosseum.
For those of you who've never played Final Fantasy 6, Ultros (Orutorosu) is the purple octopus villain who ambushes the party multiple times, while making quips about the player during his attacks. He summons Typhon to aid him in battle during his final attack.
Needless to say, Ultros returns in high definition along with his sidekick Typhon to do battle with the protagonists in the latest Final Fantasy—and he has a few choice words to say about them.
It comes out in Japan today.
