Just a short time ago, we reported that Epic Mickey games will be coming to a ton of consoles, including 3DS. What wasn't known at the time was the fact that the 3DS version of the game, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, is actually a sequel to Castle of Illusion, a Mega Drive game starring the famous mouse from long enough ago that most readers probably won't remember it.
The game is being developed by Dreamrift, and will be a side-scrolling platformer that uses the stylus heavily. You'll be using it to paint and trace certain items into existance, and the more accurately you trace things, the more powerful you become. As you may have expected, you'll also be able to erase things with the stylus, presumably with the use of thinner.
Little is known about the game at this time, apart from the fact that various Disney worlds will feature in it, including Sleeping Beauty and Tangled. As you travel through the game you will rescue various Disney characters, who will then hang out in Mickey's fortress.
With all of the Mickey Mouse related stuff coming out recently, who else is hoping that Square will get going on Kingdom Hearts 3 already? Nobody cares about the handheld versions, guys. Let's get this thing made already.
