Homeworld: Remastered Collection comes to GOG.com. It includes remasters of both Homeworld and Homeworld 2, and their respective original soundtracks. This Real-time Strategy game was highly requested by the community, and now it’s arrived with GOG galaxy achievements and multiplayer ready to go.
The update that arrives alongside the Homeworld: Remastered Collection includes a variety of changes. The Formations logic is reworked to help players deploy ships in groups more easily, with Formations themselves are more reactive to their assignments. Alongside that, tactical options have been added to Formations, allowing offensive, neutral and evasive behaviors. Target acquisition now considers grouping and speed, too. Singleplayer and Multiplayer modes have been rebuilt from “ground up”, adding new features and design systems, but also taking the time to squash bugs in the system and allow for performance improvement.
