Hoping that GTA V would be released this year? Well GameStop has crushed your dreams dear readers. In a Q and A session after the company's earnings report, Tony Bartel (President) mentioned that the following games would drive GameStop's revenue in 2012: Ghost Recon: Future Solider, FIFA 13, NCAA Football 13, Madden NFL 13, Borderlands 2, Halo 4, Assassin's Creed III, Resident Evil 6, Max Payne 3, a new Call of Duty game, and Prototype 2. Bartel basically said that GameStop was not given any solid information on a GTA V release and so did not put said game into their forecast.
But wait dear readers, there is hope. One of them thar analyst guys, Arvind Bhatia from Sterne Agee, stated that March 2013 would be the most likely time for Rockstar to launch GTA V. This would be far from the big releases of the new Call of Duty game and Assassin's Creed III.
More good news is that actual news about GTA V will be heading our way in the coming months according to Rockstar. So to be pre-emptive let's all ask Rockstar to change the ending of GTA V, ya know, just in case.
