Over 4000 Ways to improve FIFA 13

Have you ever kicked the ball past the referee in a game of FIFA and asked yourself why on earth there isn't a mode in which you could preside over a match? It seems at least one person has, with the announcement that well over 4000 suggestions have been made at FIFPlay since September last year, for features in future entries in the series.

Some of these are new modes are unusual and things that aren't ever going to be seen (one person suggested being a spectator in a stadium, an unlikely feature but one that would rock with a 3D TV), but some are good ideas and things you'd half expect to have appeared in a FIFA by now. For the most part, people are looking for ways of extending the already rather long career mode, asking for things like youth clubs and women's teams.

If nothing else, it goes to show that there's still life to be had from the FIFA series, a franchise that continues to be incredibly popular every year. It'll be interesting to see if the devs decide any of the new ideas are worth focussing on, although given that we're into 2012 already, I imagine much of what will make it into 2013 has already been decided.
