If you have been playing Soul Calibur V, then you are probably looking forward to a handful of tweaks and things to help balance out the characters for online play, or even just beating your friends into a pulp. How would you like to get 240 adjustments to your game? That's exactly what you'll be getting before the end of the month. Oh, you say it's nearly the end of the month already? Yeah…it's coming tomorrow.
Namco also announced some new DLC is coming to the game. The DLC is focused on adding customization options to the game's character creator, which is already fairly robust. Among other things, the upcoming pack features a french maid outfit, and a handful of Namco-themed items, like a Pac-Man head. All that will be available for you on April 3rd.
As much as I like the idea of DLC, I can't quite get my head around the idea of playing real money for items that offer no real benefit. I'll buy new weapons, new missions, new areas, but just buying some new costumes? There must be people who are willing to do it, because every other game out of the gate seems to have the option these days.
