Catch Sony’s E3 Press Conference At Select Local Theaters

E3 is just around the corner this is the biggest expo for the video game industry. There’s already rumors and speculations as to what may be revealed at this year’s event, especially the big press conferences. Now if you’re unable to attend the actual expo then there are a number of different live streams you can watch the press conferences play out right at home. However, for Sony, you can watch the press conference at select local theaters.

This news came from the official PlayStation blog, in which it was revealed that Sony will once again throw their PlayStation E3 Experience event at select local theaters. This time around, there will be a total of eighty-five theaters across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

“In 2014, we had this crazy idea to partner with Fathom Events and broadcast our E3 Press Conference LIVE to some theaters North America, not knowing if this was something people would even be interested in attending. Two years later, and we’ve had to more than double our seating capacity to accommodate everybody!”

It’s one thing to watch the press conference play out at the luxury of your home, but it’s a whole different ballgame when you see the event with other Sony PlayStation enthusiasts at the big screen.

During the event, fans will be able to bring home some exclusive swag like a branded PlayStation E3 Experience cup and card. Additionally, it was revealed that Sony will be giving away some online goodies though what exactly Sony had in mind was not unveiled quite yet.
