AdHoc Studio has made a follow up statement regarding the Switch and Switch 2 versions of Dispatch.

The game launched on Nintendo platforms censored, with no way to remove the censorship. AdHoc’s and Nintendo’s statements clarified that the game had to meet certain ‘content and platform guidelines.’
The consensus in the community is that CERO regulations forced AdHoc to make a censored version. And that’s where their new statement comes in.
AdHoc shared this on their official subreddit:
We’re already working with Nintendo on a path forward. While we can’t make any specific promises just yet, we’re confident we’ll be able to push an update to address at least some of the censored content.
This update is expected to come in the coming weeks.
AdHoc also took responsibility for the fans being caught unaware, saying they should have communicated it more clearly.
It’s not clear for now if AdHoc can make a fully uncensored version of Dispatch for Switch and Switch 2. But given artistic intent, they may make something that leaves fans satisfied they have something unique.
