Planning to buy all three mansions in Grand Theft Auto Online? You may have the money to be a big spender, but you don’t get everything you want all at once.

You’ll want to know all of this first before you start your journey to being the biggest one percenter in your side of Los Santos.
The Things You Cannot Take Back
This one may not seem that big a deal to many of you, and a lot of you have probably already assumed this was the case. But if you want to enjoy a particular Grand Theft Auto Online experience, you will want to know this first.
When you enter Grand Theft Auto Online: A Safehouse in the Hills, you’ll want to choose your first mansion well in advance. The cutscene with Mr. Faber and the de Santas only happens when you enter your first mansion.
With that in mind, let’s get to the good stuff.
You Share These Things Across All Three Mansions
There’s a lot to be said about the private security upgrade. It costs GTA$ 1,750,000, but it’s worth the cost. You can effectively end the threat of police raids.
Private security protects all your properties, and that also includes all three mansions. So that entry price is cheaper the more properties you own.
Subsequently, while it may not completely make sense, you share your items across all three mansions. What this means is, after buying a painting or a trophy once, they exist and you can display them in all your mansions.
There’s other things you share across mansions that you may not like as much. For example, you can only have one dog and one cat, and the same dog and cat follow you around across each mansion.
When it comes to the Prix Luxury AI Concierge, you have to choose to use between either Haviland, Angel, and OG. The same one AI personality follows you across all your mansions. Of course, you can always call them outside your mansions to help you out.
Some Other Things You Won’t Like
Each mansion has 20 spaces for vehicles in the garage. However, if you add a podium and/or driveway slots, those add to the 20 spaces. You do have ways to get the podium car sent to you if you want to use it to go out.
Lastly, it isn’t possible to sell or trade mansions. Since there are only three partly prebuilt mansions, maybe that should not be a surprise. But if you were thinking you could use mansions as a grandiose way to make a lot of money quickly, like some bigshots do in real life, that’s just not how it works.
