Rockstar has unwittingly confirmed some Grand Theft Auto 6 assets have leaked.

The Grand Theft Auto 6 Leaks
As reported by TheGamer, a Rockstar employee made a demo reel of their work in the company.
Ben Chue has credits on Max Payne 3, and Red Dead Redemption 2, which also appear on the demo reel. But there’s a short clip that drew everyone’s interest.
In the clip, a male character is seen taking out a bike from a bicycle rental kiosk, and then riding it. The animation is clearly incomplete.
The background is entirely grey, with a white squared pattern representing the ground. The bike itself also does not look complete, represented with yellow shapes.
This very small animation comes from Grand Theft Auto 6.
Did We Even Learn Anything?
GTAWiki shared this insight on Twitter:
The latest #GTAVI leak depicts the LomBike, a new bicycle based on the real-world Citi Bike, first identified in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks. It can also be seen in an official GTA VI screenshot from May 2025.
Lombike can also be identified with Lombank, a banking company in the Grand Theft Auto HD universe that was introduced in Grand Theft Auto IV.
It’s possible that these bikes are part of a company ride sharing/transportation program. It’s also possible this is a secondary business for the bank.
Of course, knowing the rules of the Grand Theft Auto universe, you can probably ‘borrow’ these bikes in your own terms.
Is This Really A Leak?
Some people did posit if this is really considered a leak. Gameroll said this when asked if it could be taken down:
I doubt it, I imagine this was allowed. Doesn’t really show anything interesting and I doubt a dev would be so stupid to include confidential footage in a demo reel.
We think Gameroll was completely logical and reasonable. The employee also felt it would be OK to share the footage. So, maybe they thought there would be no issue with this too.
But as you can see from the GamingLeaksandRumours subreddit, the original video was pulled from Vimeo. As harsh as it may seem, Rockstar may not have realized what they did.
Rockstar Told Us This Was A Leak
If there was some reason to doubt that the leak was legit, Rockstar just removed it when this video was removed. Even without official word from Rockstar or Take-Two, this just raised everyone’s radar that this clip was real.
But if that’s the case, it’s very strange that Rockstar got so harsh about this tiny clip. It seems unreasonable to take hasty actions over this little detail that hardly tells us anything about the game.
But then, this does point to how overly secretive the video game industry is regarding their WIPs in general. In any case, it will be interesting to see if Rockstar or Take-Two does drop official word about it.
