Xbox 360 Version of Street Fighter X Tekken Handicapped

March 14, 2012 by Jacob Saylor

The handicapped part of the game in question points to the 4-player coop mode.

Ayano (Gregaman) posted on his personal blog earlier today, with interesting information regarding the multiplayer portion of Street Fighter X Tekken – specifically, the multiplayer portion of the game.

The handicapped part of the game in question points to the 4-player coop mode. 360 players were unable to team up locally and play online. He had this to say on the subject, “Unfortunately, due to time and resource issues, we weren’t able to get that feature into the Xbox 360 version and we apologize to those players who were looking forward to it.”

However, Ayano is quick to implement damage control, noting that, “there are times when new features are added (and we added a lot of them!) and there are also times when we have to make tough decisions regarding things to cut.”

He finally writes: “With that said, we have some information regarding new updates for Street Fighter X Tekken coming up soon, so we’ll keep you posted!” which alludes to the fact their team might perhaps be patching the game in sometime soon.
