May 25, 2016 by Nick Monroe

According to the trailer – “Make the bad guys cry like an anime fan on prom night”.

When it comes to Mighty No. 9, having new footage or content to talk about is always going to be infinitely better than having to deliver news about any delays.

Deep Silver just uploaded “Mighty No. 9 Trailer: Masterclass” to YouTube.

The trailer shows off footage from the game in a more finished state. Up until now, we’ve only had glimpses at early Mighty No. 9 builds, alongside the occasional leak from external sources.

The narrator asks you if you like “awesome things that are awesome,” encouraging you to play this game if so. He calls it a “friggin cool, crazy addictive” experience. We see the protagonist’s dash move in all its forms (but it will not make you breakfast?). The video shows off the game’s combo-based combat system. Lastly, we see the absorption boosts mechanic in action – when you kill an enemy, you absorb their power-ups.

Mighty No. 9 finally launches on June 21st.
