Capcom announced today that Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles are set for a HD remake on the PlayStation 3.
The collection will be released exclusively on the PlayStation Store online as a single digital download. The games will also be sold separately at a later date.
The Resident Evil titles are remastered for the PlayStation 3 with new HD graphics and full PlayStation Move compatibility. Both games will also feature full-fledged co-op support for up to two players.
The Umbrella Chronicles revisits past plots from the series, featuring eight playable characters, including Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield, and Jill Valentine. This version of the game will also come with the previously exclusive Nintendo Wii chapter.
The Darkside Chronicles will feature Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield in their attempt to escape Raccoon City.
The Collection will be out in June 2012. Check out the announcement trailer below.
