Tecmo Koei has released the official launch trailer for their upcoming game Ninja Gaiden 3. The game features a new story, gameplay and modes marking a new direction for the franchise.
According to the description in the trailer, Team Ninja will change the way fans think about ninja and Hayabusa with the new game, and bring to life how it feels to cut someone down with a katana. The trailer focuses on katana-based combat, but the full version will have multiple other weapons.
In addition to the new campaign, the game will be the first in the franchise to feature online multiplayer, with both co-op and competitive modes.
Ninja Gaiden 3 slashes its way to stores on March 23, 2012. It will be out for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
