Rockstar has added upgrades to Rockstar Games Launcher, to give PC gamers a really ‘rich’ experience.

Discord Rich Presence
Tez2 shared the news on Twitter:
Discord Rich Presence is now available as a setting in the Rockstar Games Launcher to share your rich presence in supported titles.
Discord Rich Presence is a nice little feature that lets you show what games you are playing on your Discord.
This feature is also integrated in PlayStation and Xbox if you have your Discord account in your console. In this case, Rockstar just added it to their PC launcher.
Rockstar gave these instructions to get this feature working on your PC launcher:
- Open the Rockstar Games Launcher
- Select the Settings tab in the Rockstar Games Launcher
- Under General, select Discord Rich Presence to toggle sharing on or off for supported Rockstar Games titles
But Wait, There’s More…
PLTytus also shared some more features that have just been added to the launcher. They said this:
Now, you can also choose on which launcher you to launch the game.
Also, for games installed by RGL, there is a three-dots menu to uninstall or enter its settings.
Of course, you can buy many Rockstar games on Steam or Epic Game Store on top of the Rockstar Game Launcher itself. Rockstar has removed some of the friction that PC gamers have to deal with when playing their games.
Are These Rockstar Games Launcher Updates Hinting At Something Bigger?
No, we don’t think there is a ‘spoiler’ here that will magically launch advertising for Grand Theft Auto 6. It is interesting that Rockstar is paying attention to their launcher, though.
As we already know, Grand Theft Auto 6 will only be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has confirmed a PC version is also coming, but he did not hint at a release date or window.
It sounds like Rockstar might be planning huge improvements for PC players when Grand Theft Auto 6 finally makes its way to the platform.
Console players may not see what the big deal is, but it’s on PC that mods are active for Rockstar’s games. And some of you may not know this, but Rockstar acquired FiveM to make GTA RP an official part of Grand Theft Auto Online.
So Rockstar may really be working their way to integrate FiveM to the Rockstar Games Launcher, and their official website. Or should we say SixeM? We’ll have to wait and see what Rockstar plans to do.
