September 8, 2025 by Ryan Parreno

There is one way to get an extension on those pre-order bonuses.

Gearbox shared a handy reminder to their fans on Twitter.

They said this:

IT’S LAST CALL!!!

Pre-order Borderlands 4 before Sep. 12 and nab the Gilded Glory Pack, including four Legendary weapons, Vault Hunter cosmetics, and more

With Borderlands 4 releasing this Friday, gamers do have this week left to pre-order the game on Steam, Epic Game Store, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store.

What You Can Get On Pre-Orders And Special Editions

This is what you get for pre-ordering the Standard Edition, as part of the Gilded Glory Pack:

  • 1 Vault Hunter Skin for each Hunter
  • 1 Weapon Skin
  • 1 ECHO-4 Drone Skin
  • 1 Psycho Bandit Head usable by all Hunters
  • New Legendary Gear

On top of all of that, here’s what you get for the Deluxe Edition:

Firehawk’s Fury Weapon Skin

Bounty Pack Bundle

  • 4 unique areas, featuring new missions and unique bosses
  • 4 Vault Cards with unique challenges and rewards
  • New gear and weapons
  • New Vault Hunter cosmetics
  • 4 New vehicles with new cosmetics

Finally, here’s what is added on top of everything that was mentioned above as part of the Super Deluxe Edition:

Ornate Order Pack

  • 4 Vault Hunter Skins
  • 4 Vault Hunter Heads
  • 4 Vault Hunter Bodies

Vault Hunter Pack

  • 2 new playable Vault Hunters
  • 2 new Story Packs, featuring all new story and side missions
  • 2 new map regions
  • New gear and weapons
  • New Vault Hunter cosmetics
  • New ECHO-4 cosmetics

You Don’t Have To FOMO

We did share all these nice little bonuses for fans who can afford to get all of this gear all at once. But you shouldn’t have to feel like you were forced to buy a Super Deluxe Edition now so that you don’t miss out.

After the game launches, you will still be able to access all of these special edition and pre-order skins. But, you’ll have to pay for them separately as DLC.

There will also be a set schedule for these DLC packs to become available.

So, the incentive to buy the game now really is to get them cheap and to get everything now.

There’s One Last Chance If You’re Not Ready Yet

There is one more way to get these bonuses and extras if you aren’t ready to buy this Friday.

The Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 is coming a little later, on October 3, 2025. And all of these bonuses with these tiers are also available on that platform.
