It was already teased previously on Scott’s website last month, but over the weekend he took the hype train a step further. A trailer of Sister Location has shown up on his YouTube channel, and is already well on it’s way to 2,000,000 views by Monday Morning.
The trailer starts by taking the viewer through glimpses of the previous Five Nights at Freddy’s games. But then we see new shots of what appears to be Sister Location gameplay. There’s an elevator, some sort of viewpoint window, and even the player crawling through a vent of some kind at one point. This is a departure from the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, as those games had you mostly stationary in one particular location. Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 was the first in the series to have the player move from one place to another as part of the gameplay. Albeit in short intervals.
Then, we meet the new monsters. Sister Location has several animatronic robots of its own, following the formula of the previous Five Nights at Freddy’s games. The difference in this game, is that the monsters appear to have a chrome finish on them. They’re shiny – even in the darkness we see them in. One of the familiar animatronics is a Freddy Fazbear. In his new pink and chrome finish, his cold heartless face is still recognizable. He’s got some sort of Rabbit puppet attached to his one hand, and a microphone in the other. Foxy is the other returning robot. In this rendition, he appears to have both of his hands and eyes. Alongside Freddy and Foxy, we see a new humanoid-like ballerina character, never before seen in any of the previous titles.
At the center of the group, is Sister. You’ll meet her and the rest of the gang this fall, when Sister Location is scheduled to release.
