Hitman’s third episode “Marrakesh” will be dated for release next week, IO Interactive has announced.
The episode is still expected to launch this month but IO cautioned last month that Hitman’s monthly release schedule is “subject to change” meaning Marrakesh could be delayed to next month as time is running out for a May release. At the time, IO confirmed that it was on schedule to release a new episode every month.
Friday, May 27th will see the launch of the second Elusive Target, a “Congressman on a visit to sunny Sapienza”. You’ll need to own Hitman: Episode Two Sapienza and, as was the case with the first Elusive Target, you’ll have only a single chance to eliminate the target.
IO adds that additional Elusive Targets are planned and those who complete all five will earn a special Hitman: Absolution suit. Finishing ten will see you earn the Hitman: Blood Money suit with other suit variations available as you complete more.
A chart was previously released by the developer showing how players got on with the first Elusive Contract, with the first kill being made in just six minutes.
The developer also announced today that is considering remastering 2006’s Hitman: Blood Money but its current focus is this year’s game.
Yes, we have considered it. Blood Money is a much-loved game & we'd want to do it justice. Focus now is on the current game though
