Fans of the Red Dead Redemption franchise could have some exciting bits of information heading online this week. There’s plenty of anticipation building up over the franchise. In particular, there’s hope that Red Dead Redemption 2 gets a next-gen update. However, nothing official has been released about the game yet. Today, we’re learning that news could be released sometime before Friday.
This shred of news actually comes from a voice actor that was attached to the series. Thanks to a Reddit post that captured a moment of a stream, it seems Rob Wiethoff has some insight into what’s happening. While streaming the game series, the voice actor stopped and mentioned that he had some very exciting and big news. Noting that while playing the game, it’s the only thing he could think about right now.
He can’t wait to share it with everyone; it’s not something he’s at liberty to say. However, the news will come at some point this week. In particular, Rob noted that this should be shared with fans before Friday. But beyond that, it’s a guessing game as to what this mystery announcement could be.
Again, we’ve heard fans wanting a next-gen update to Red Dead Redemption 2. There is also some speculation about whether we will receive a port announcement for the Nintendo Switch 2. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait and see just what Rockstar could potentially have in the works.
