Well, did you have FromSoftware on your bingo card for the Nintendo Direct presentation today? They made a couple of announcements, including the fact that Elden Ring would be arriving on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console. However, most of us probably didn’t expect a brand-new game from this development team. Especially a game that would be exclusive to the upcoming console. In case you missed it, check out the trailer for The Duskbloods.
We don’t have too much information on this game right now. The trailer is a bit cryptic, and most people are expecting some kind of play on vampires. Regardless, it did offer a little bit of footage of the game, and it looks very much like a FromSoftware game. It’s full of challenging battles and what looks like a rather open world to explore.
That said, the official description on the trailer from the YouTube channel states that this is a brand-new multiplayer game. So it looks like we’ll get to endure this new, challenging RPG with some friends. Unfortunately, we won’t be getting a chance to play it this year.
At the moment, The Duskbloods is only slated to launch at some point in 2026. So, we will have the remainder of this year to learn more about the game. Meanwhile, we’ll at least get our hands on the Nintendo Switch 2 before then. The Nintendo Switch 2 is slated to launch into the marketplace on June 5, 2025.
