Xbox Game Pass is a popular subscription service, and Microsoft wants it to be widely accessible. So, this service might be interesting if you’re after first-party Microsoft titles with the benefit of access to a slew of third-party game releases. Each month, we get two waves of video game additions. However, on the flip side of that coin, we know we will see a collection of games being removed twice a month.
Today, Microsoft took to the official Xbox Wire and revealed what games are coming to this month’s subscription service. More specifically, we got word on the second and final wave for March 2025. That will get us through the rest of this month as we wait to see what April brings to the service. However, that announcement about what is coming during the second wave of Xbox Game Pass also came with notice of what games are leaving soon.
Xbox Game Pass Leaving March 31
-MLB The Show 24 (Cloud and Console)
-Lil Gator Game (Cloud, Console, and PC)
-Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
-Open Roads (Cloud, Console, and PC)
-Yakuza 0 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
-Yakuza Kiwami (Cloud, Console, and PC)
-Yakuza Kiwami 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
-Yakuza Like a Dragon (Cloud, Console, and PC)
-The Lamplighter’s League (Cloud, Console, and PC)
-Monster Hunter Rise (Cloud, Console, and PC)
While first-party Microsoft games will remain on the subscription service unless licensing issues arise, third-party games won’t. They will remain on the service for a duration before Microsoft is forced to remove them. Fortunately, there is an incentive here to get players to check these games out.
If you want to try these games, you still have time. However, if you find the game enjoyable and would like to keep it, then we have good news for you! Microsoft offers a 20% discount to purchase these games, so they’ll remain in your digital library. This offer is available today and will remain until the games are removed from the service. You only need to be a Game Pass member to secure the special discount.
