If you want to check out more of FBC: Firebreak, you don’t have to wait long! The game, coming from the fine folks at Remedy Entertainment, is set to launch sometime this year. But we know we’ll get a new look at the game next month. Announced from their official Bluesky account, the team behind FBC: Firebreak has confirmed the game will be featured during this coming month’s Future Games Show.
GamesRadar puts together a couple of shows each year called the Future Games Show. In this case, we will soon see the Spring edition of the Future Games Show next month on March 20. With a variety of indie games and some AAA titles, the showcase aims to highlight fun new titles heading our way soon.
As mentioned, one of the games confirmed to be featured at this showcase is FBC: Firebreak. Players will get a new look at this title, although we are not given much insight into what will be revealed. We might get some new premise information or gameplay footage. All we can do is tune into the show and wait to learn what the studio has been cooking up.
For a refresher, FBC: Firebreak was unveiled to the masses just a few months ago. Late last year, Remedy Entertainment showcased its first multiplayer game, which is set in the Control universe. We’re put back into the Oldest House, which has a new invasion of enemies attacking the bureau.
While we know this game also takes place sometime after the events of Control, players are getting a standalone multiplayer game here. So, if you’ve never played Control but like FPS multiplayer games, you’re in luck!
Players are stepping into the role of a Firebreak team. Essentially, you’re the last stand of defense to keep the bureau safe from the invasion of Hiss. Again, we’ll better understand what to expect next month. However, we already know this game will launch for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms this year. In the meantime, you can view the official first-look video of FBC: Firebreak below.
