Microsoft has been reforming Xbox’s business model in recent years. It has upset some die-hard fans that the company has begun releasing first-party Xbox games on rival consoles. However, it seems to be a new primary objective of the company to release big Xbox titles to other consoles. Several titles have already been released on the PlayStation. Now there are more to follow.
As shared by the folks over at Video Games Chronicle. A new report from Windows Central seems to hint at more Xbox games that will be ported to other consoles. This is after the rumours last week that both Halo: The Masterchief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are going to be made available to other consoles.
The rumoured games are:
- Age of Mythology
- Gears of War 1: Ultimate Edition
- Hellblade 2
- Halo: The Masterchief Collection
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Games that have been confirmed as coming to the PS5
- Doom: The Dark Ages
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
- The Outer Worlds 2
Microsoft’s first round of Xbox ports seems to have performed well. Sea of Thieves achieved great success last May (Where it was the most downloaded PS5 game).
Several fans speculated that Xbox was holding off on a first-day Indiana Jones and the Great Circle release to give Xbox players time to enjoy the game first. However, this was not the case as an Xbox Studio Boss stated. Matt Booty stated that the core focus is supplying a good game. If you’d like to read more about Xbox’s focus on quality click here.
