Capcom has announced that the PC version of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be out everywhere on May 18, just under two months after the game launches on consoles.
The publisher has also sent over a brand spanking new trailer for the game. Entitled "Brutality", the clip showcases a few of the gratuitously nasty things you can do to the zombies you encounter in Raccoon City. That means, in no particular order: curb-stomping, throat-slitting, neck-snapping, corpse-shooting, grenade-feeding, and groin-kicking. Yeah, something tells me we're not looking at an "E for Everyone" here.
Set during the events of Resident Evil 2 and 3, Operation Raccoon City gives the iconic survival horror franchise a hefty jolt of third-person shooter adrenaline, with an action-heavy squad-based single-player campaign and a co-op mode that offers support for up to four players.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be released for the the PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 20 in North America and March 23 in Europe.
