In a shocking turn of events that absolutely no one saw coming, EA has revealed that a follow-up to the 2010 Medal of Honor reboot is coming this October.
Entitled Medal of Honor: Warfighter, the sequel is once again being developed by Danger Close. This time, they'll be handling the multiplayer compontent as well, rather than outsourcing it to DICE as they did with the first game.
Plot details are scarce at the moment, but it's been confirmed that Warfighter will still focus on the same group of special forces units, known as Tier 1 Operators.
More info about the game will be available in the April issue of the Official Xbox Magazine, which hits shelves on March 6. Coincidentally, that's the exact same day that EA will be unveiling the game to the press at a special event in San Francisco.
