Don’t count Cyberpunk 2077 out. Apparently, after what we thought was the end of the road for the game development, CD Projekt Red had been secretly working on some more content. A new update is coming soon, and tomorrow, CD Projekt Red will finally pull back the veil at what is coming to the game next.
We long believed Cyberpunk 2077 was done with updates. It was thought developers had moved on from the project and were working on other titles. But it seems like at least one more update is coming our way. This new update will bring the game to 2.2, but what players will receive is a mystery.
If you recall, it wasn’t long ago that fans chimed in online in hopes of Cyberpunk 2077 receiving a new update for the PlayStation 5 Pro. However, it was previously noted that there were no plans to see such an update come to fruition. However, new features are apparently being added into the mix, giving you another reason to jump back into the bustling Night City.
Again, we don’t know what features will be added to 2.2. But this will be showcased to the public very soon. CD Projekt Red has alerted fans that they can expect the Cyberpunk 2077 2.2 update to be showcased tomorrow, December 10, 2024, at 11 AM ET. This will be shared on CD Projekt Red’s Twitch account and the Cyberpunk 2077 YouTube channel.
This is very much a surprise for fans, and it will give them something else to enjoy while they wait for Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel to come into the marketplace. However, The Witcher 4 will likely come out well before then, so hopefully, 2.2 adds enough features to prompt you to enjoy the RPG for the long haul. But for now we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what the developers have planned for us.
