Xbox Game Pass is a solid subscription service. Thanks to cloud gaming support, it’s become more widely available. We know that first-party games will arrive on the subscription service, while a variety of third-party games are added monthly. However, just as new games are added monthly, there are also games being rotated out.
First-party Xbox games will remain on the subscription service unless certain circumstances prevent Xbox Game Pass from keeping the title, which is the case for one of these games on the list. Forza Horizon 4 is one of the games being removed from Xbox Game Pass and all digital storefronts. This removal is due to licensing and agreements with various partners, making the game no longer available for purchase through online storefronts.
We typically see the games being removed from the subscription service unveiled in two waves. But since we’re in the month of December, we’re likely just going to see one wave of games unveiled, along with a list of all games being removed this month in the same announcement. However, it’s worth pointing out that these game removals will be in two batches.

That said, several new games are being added to Xbox Game Pass this month. If you haven’t checked out what is coming to the service, thanks to the Xbox Wire, we have the official lineup right here.
