Scott Cawthon, creator of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, took to the Steam forums to answer questions about the possibility of console releases.
Actually, yes! It will happen. I’m talking with a few companies who are interested in doing console remakes of the original games. 🙂
However, as with everything else Five Nights at Freddy’s related, we need to look closely at what exactly Scott is saying.
Expanding upon the first comment, Scott’s second comment clarifies it further. “The games will not be ported, they will be remade,” is what he makes clear.
The most logical route for the series would be some sort of collection of all the Five Nights at Freddy’s games together on one disc. Update the graphics, throw in some bonus content here and there, and then Scott would have a decent console game on his hands.
The Five Nights at Freddy’s series is also available on iOS and Android, in addition to the PC version on Steam.
This news on top of everything else makes it a good time to be a Five Nights at Freddy’s fan. I mean if the development of the Sister Location game, book release, and film wasn’t enough Five Nights at Freddy’s for you.
