Black Myth: Wukong has been a big hit. Fans who enjoyed this game might be waiting around to see what the development studio might offer next. It’s been a mystery whether there is more coming for the game soon. However, that mystery is slightly resolved. The developers are hard at work and preparing some surprises for fans. But we’ll have to wait a little longer before we know exactly these surprises.
Thanks to Insider Gaming, we’re finding out today that Black Myth: Wukong took home the Game of the Year award from the Golden Joysticks Award. That’s quite a feat, and we’re sure it gave the development team a little more confidence that fans and critics enjoyed their title release. However, what might surprise some fans is that the game director, Feng Ji, mentioned that more is coming our way. Unfortunately, they stopped from revealing anything more than that.
The speech noted that the developers were aware players might have finished the game already. However, there might be some surprises waiting for you later this year. So that’s a good indicator that this surprise announcement is something being added to the game rather than a port announcement. Furthermore, this year is quickly winding down, which could mean we will have some new content to enjoy during our holiday breaks. That’s if it’s not just an announcement being made this year for content heading our way within 2025.
We’ll have to wait for the development studio to unveil these surprises. Furthermore, we know that Black Myth: Wukong is coming to the Xbox Series X/S platform. Unfortunately, its release date has yet to be unveiled, but it’s been said that the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, is aware of when the game will be arriving on the Xbox platform.
