It’s that time of year. Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and with it comes the biggest holiday shopping event, Black Friday. The PlayStation Black Friday deals were finally teased today through the official PlayStation Blog. While we don’t have a comprehensive breakdown of what exactly is getting a deal, there are some teases here and the official kick-off date as to when Sony will start offering these deals.
The official start date for the PlayStation Black Friday deals is November 22, 2024. So, this week, we will see information on the various offers from Sony, either directly from them or by participating retailers. While we don’t have the full breakdown, there is some general information you can note for this year.
Directly through PlayStation, you can purchase console offerings, DualSense wireless controllers, the Pulse Elite wireless headset, Pulse Explore wireless earbuds, console covers, the PlayStation VR2, and select video game titles. These deals are only available while supplies last, so you might not want to wait too long if you spot some hardware you’re after at a discounted price.
PlayStation Plus is also getting some discounts. Those who join during the Black Friday promotion can save up to 30% on a 12-month membership. Of course, we have the PlayStation Store for your various digital game sales.
We don’t know all the games that games will be marked down in price, but you can expect hundreds of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 digital games to go on sale. Fortunately, the deals will be available for a little while. It’s noted that these deals will officially wrap up on December 2, 2024. So, if you’re looking to grab any games to enjoy during your upcoming holiday breaks, take the opportunity to pick these titles up while you can.
