Life is Strange: Double Exposure Finally Has A Release Date For The Nintendo Switch

November 18, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Get ready for another emotional rollercoaster with Max Caulfield.

Life is Strange fans waited a while to see where the next installment would take them. Then, in June of this year, it was finally unveiled that Deck Nine would be delivering Life is Strange: Double Exposure. The big hook for this one is that this installment would bring back the original protagonist, Max Caulfield, and serve players up a sequel to the 2015 title.

However, this game has been out for a little while now. If you are playing games on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, or the PC, you have had access to this title since the end of October. Finally, we’re getting word about when players on Nintendo Switch can enjoy this game. Deck Nine just dropped a new animated trailer reminding players what this game is about while highlighting when Nintendo Switch players can join in on the fun.

Mark your calendars! Life is Strange: Double Exposure will launch digitally for the Nintendo Switch on November 19, 2024. However, a physical release will be available early next year, on January 28, 2025. Pre-order now, and you can find a bonus steelbook to store the game.

If you need a reminder of the storyline, we’re dealing with an older Max Caulfield. Years have passed since we last saw her in Life is Strange. We’re in a new area, and Max has a new best friend, Safi. Throwing her powers to the side and just living life, Max’s world comes crumbling down again when she uncovers Safi’s body.

Now, harnessing a new power that allows Max to rip between two different timelines, our protagonist can save Safi in this alternate timeline while uncovering who the murderer might be. While we wait for the game to release on Nintendo Switch, you can view the new animated trailer embedded below.
