It’s official, Fear Effect Sedna will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The news came after a series of requests for the game to receive a port on the current generation of consoles. While the development team behind the project was hesitant, they have announced what so many fans have been waiting to hear, the game will be making their way to consoles if the Kickstarter campaign reaches the development team’s intended goal.
Originally, the game was set to be developed for the PC platform with consoles only being a possibility if fans reached a stretch goal within the Kickstarter campaign. That has since changed with the independent development studio, Sushee, officially announcing ports for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will go into development once the Kickstarter campaign is funded.
Not too much is known about the upcoming Fear Effect Sedna title. We do know that the famous team Hana, Rain, Deke, and Glas will be present within this real-time tactical action game, but most of the story has been tight lipped. According to the Kickstarter campaign, players will start within Hong Kong and reach the Greenland through Inuit mythology where gamers will have to face the spirit world.
If you want to see this video game enter development, you will have to make a pledge towards the campaign. Currently, it’s coming down to the wire as the development team has only reached a total of $86,758 out of their pledged goal of $114,106. With only eight days left to go, Fear Effect Sedna very well may not reach its end goal.
