Earlier this month, Microsoft announced that it would be holding a special Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2024 presentation. More details have now been revealed, and fans will want to tune in on September 26 at 6 AM EST / 3 AM PST to see what Phil Spencer and the rest of the team at Microsoft Gaming have in store.
It’s unclear just how long the stream will last, but viewers can tune in on Tokyo Game Show’s official YouTube channel.
The stream will feature content from Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, Bethesda Softworks, and Xbox Game Studios, as well as “an exciting lineup of games from third-party partners primarily based in Japan and across Asia.” This will include games coming soon to Xbox Game Pass.
The Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2024 Broadcast will stream live on Xbox’s social channels in many different languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, French, French Canadian, German, Arabic (MSA), Filipino, Hindi, Italian, Maori, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Mexican Spanish, and Turkish.
Tokyo Game Show 2024 will be held at Makuhari Messe in Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. Over a quarter of a million people are expected to attend between September 26 and September 29.
Each year, Xbox’s logo for the event is redesigned to keep in line with a Japanese theme. For the 2024 show, a lucky black cat appears beside a Japanese player in front of the iconic Xbox Nexus. “We hope that this year’s Xbox theme brings players around the world good luck and great joy in their gaming pursuits,” the announcement reads.
