There’s nothing more annoying than dealing with a griefer. These players find jumping into a video game a good time to troll and annoy others. It’s not ideal when you log into a video game to get through a few matches or game progression. However, we’re finding out today that some griefers are going above and beyond to destroy unsuspecting players’ Elden Ring save progression.
FromSoftware games are made to be challenging. If you’re fond of their gameplay experiences in titles like Elden Ring, you probably savor the various boss battles. A lot of preparation can go into them. You have to know their moves and what to equip to have a fighting chance. However, you might soon find that some big boss fights are already completed before you even reach them.
Thanks to The Gamer, we’re learning about a new trend with some players on Elden Ring. It seems that some players will invade a game and then use that opportunity to venture over to boss battles that were untouched to beat them ahead of time. Ultimately, that kills off the fun of getting to the boss battles yourself and even ends some NPC questlines. So, you can imagine the headache this can create.
Players will want to watch for this in their game and potentially end Elden Ring before the invading player spoils the fun. That’s not ideal, but it saves you from dealing with a boss battle being defeated well before you reach the area.
Those who have yet to pick up a copy of Elden Ring can do so on the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S platforms. We also have a Before You Buy video coverage of the game, which you can view below. As for FromSoftware, it’s noted that they have a few projects in the works. Nothing has been officially unveiled yet, but there are expectations that one of the games being developed is set within the Armored Core franchise.
