Max Payne 3 won't be hit retail shelves for another few months, but that won’t stop gamers from probing for information on its potential DLC. In a recent Q&A, Rockstar Games answered fans' questions concerning the much anticipated title, which included the topic of DLC.
"As for future looking downloadable content, it’s a bit early yet for us to confirm exactly what shape Max Payne 3 DLC might take as we’re still in the planning stages for that," Rockstar stated. "Yes we do plan to support Max Payne 3 with content post-release to properly extend the game experience for fans."
When Rockstar releases DLC for Max Payne 3, you can be assured that it won’t be some half-assed money-grab attempt; it will most likely be a substantial slab of content as they have proved in the past; this is probably what they meant by “properly”.
Max Payne 3 is set for a May 15, 2012, release on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC platforms.
