Another Industry Insider Suggests A State of Play Is Planned This Month

September 5, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Players might be able to tune in for a new State of Play at the end of this month.

A Sony PlayStation State of Play could happen this month, and another industry insider is claiming to be looking towards the last week of the month.

Those of you eager for Sony PlayStation’s next State of Play might not have too long to wait. Plenty of rumors have been popping up about when we can expect to see the next thrilling showcase. An industry insider also comments on what they heard regarding the next State of Play event.

PlayStation State of Play has not officially been confirmed and dated yet, but plenty of fans are expecting to see something come out this month. One of the industry insiders with a reliable track record is Jeff Grubb. Jeff noted that we could potentially see a PlayStation State of Play come out during the last week of September. That should bring out some new thrilling video game reveals and updates as we head into the fall and winter season.

Likewise, we’re finding out through a Reddit post that Jeff went on to say there were plans to reveal a PlayStation 5 Pro console sometime before their next showcase event. So, that goes along the same lines as other rumors we heard earlier today. If you didn’t catch the news, an online leaker named Lunatic Ignus stated that they heard a big PlayStation reveal was coming next week before a scheduled State of Play event.

The fabled PlayStation 5 Pro could be unveiled soon and delivered just in time for the holiday season. But we’ll have to practice patience and wait for the official word from the Sony team to come out. Likewise, it will be interesting to see just how much better games will perform on this console model compared to the standard model available today.
