Plenty of hype surrounds the Xbox Game Pass subscription at the start of the month. Like other subscription services that provide media content, a new month typically means a new barrage of content to enjoy. We know that with Xbox Game Pass, we’re given two waves each month. Those waves consist of new titles being added to the collection, and the first wave was just unveiled for September.
Microsoft has taken to the Xbox Wire and unveiled what they have coming our way for the Game Pass service. Those of you who are subscribed to the subscription service already will want to keep an eye out for these next set of video game arrivals. We’ll list the games coming, their dates, and the platforms on which they will be accessible.
Xbox Game Pass September 2024 Wave 1
- Age of Mythology: Retold (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – September 4
- Expeditions: A MudRunner Game (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 5
- Riders Republic (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 11
- Train Sim World 5 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 17
That said, there is also a new addition to the service today. While already unveiled, Star Trucker will be available for PC, console, and the cloud.
We also previously reported on the latest set of games leaving the subscription service. If you didn’t already catch the leaving soon tab, you’ll find the following titles are being removed from the subscription service.
Xbox Game Pass Leaving Soon
- Ashes of Singularity: Escalation
- FIFA 23
- Payday 3
- Slime Rancher 2
- SpiderHeck
- You Suck At Parking
Fortunately, these games will be available for a little while longer. You won’t find their removal until September 15, 2024. Likewise, there is an incentive here to check them out. If you find any of the games enjoyable, you’ll have a 20% discount to purchase the game until they are officially removed from the Game Pass service.
