Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble just rolled out its Version 1.10 update, bringing a new race stage, some gameplay stability improvements, and a Sonic stat boost.
Released in June, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble features tons of unique customization options and game modes for fans of the franchise to enjoy. The game’s Adventure mode features 200 stages across numerous different worlds, with fans able to play in both local and online four-player co-op.

- Sonic’s ball now displays the correct color
- Adjusted Sonic’s stats (increased his total stat value) to better showcase his unique character traits
- Made minor adjustmenets to the terrain for the Acrobatics stage in Adventure
- Added new Race stage, Sky Highway, to Battle
- Made minor adjustments to the terrain in Race stages in Battle
- In Online Play, when matching with random players in Battle and Adventure, there is newly added functionality to remove players from the match who exhibit unusual behavior
- Increased the accuracy of the camera reset function
- Improved hit detection for the Bat item in Battle
- Added support for additional content
- Improved game stability
- Improved the display/visuals of various in-game screens and fixed other minor bugs
The Super Monkey Ball series debuted in 2001 with the arcade game Monkey Ball, which was later ported to the GameCube. Since then, 20 games have followed, with the upcoming Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble set to be the 21st in the series.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble was released on the Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2024. The game includes over 300 items that can be used to customize your character, including headwear, clothing, and accessories.
