Mass Effect 3 has officially gone gold. According to an announcement on Twitter made by the game's lead designer Casey Hudson, the game is officially ready for release and is being sent off to the printers.
The developer also added that players can expect to see many more surprises within the coming weeks leading up to the game's release.

Mass Effect 3 is set for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 6, 2012.
